What MyPHU does
MyPHU helps people understand common health language and find the right official service. The self-check provides general signposting based on severity, duration and important warning signs.
What MyPHU does not do
MyPHU does not diagnose, prescribe, create a clinician–patient relationship or replace professional assessment. Content is general and may not account for age, pregnancy, disability, long-term conditions, medicines or other individual factors.

Emergency numbers and support links are adapted for the United Kingdom, Ireland, United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. You can change country at any time.
Where the health information comes from
Conditions and medicines are synchronised from the NHS website's structured health information. Each copied article links to its original source and shows when it was refreshed. NHS content is written for people in England, so service arrangements may differ elsewhere.
Information from the NHS website is licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0. MyPHU does not copy NHS logos, photographs, videos, third-party material or medical-device widgets, and the NHS does not endorse MyPHU.
